Simplicity of Heart Counseling Services began in December 1997, after Dr. Manuel Reyes received his doctorate in ministry.
To date Dr. Reyes has completed his Doctorate in Biblical Counseling and his Ph.D.
His desire to help people in need started in 1971-72, when he served as a para-professional counselor at Merced College. His desire to see people helped out of addictions, molestations, sexual perversions, suicides, etc. encouraged him to start Simplicity of Heart Counseling Services.
He has spent over twenty years helping people in various situations of their lives. His most profound challenges came from those who were perpetrators as well as those who were molested and/or suicidal.
Simplicity of Heart is a an organization whose mission is to help those being victimized and those victimizing.
